PiMS Graduate Makes the Grade.
The entire PiMS Workspace team is delighted to congratulate Erin Collier, our Relocation Project Manager based at CB Richard Ellis, for passing a BA Hons degree course in Interior Design and Technology.
Erin is the first staff member to be fully sponsored by PiMs to study at the London Metropolitan University for a degree alongside her day job. Having achieved a very impressive 2.1 grade, she now plans to use the qualification to bring a more creative edge to her role. Erin comments:
“This has been a brilliant opportunity. The prospect of loans and debts put me off further education after leaving school. But at PiMS I’ve been able to go to university and enjoy my course, safe in the knowledge that I had job security at the end. With creative, as well as practical design expertise on offer, PiMS can provide a fully comprehensive service that will save our clients money and attract new business, so it’s definitely been worthwhile.”
Operations Manager, Nicky Hatt, adds:
“We are very lucky at PiMS to have a team of fantastic people, who do everything they can to help the business grow. Nurturing individual talents is proving to be a mutually beneficial investment. Erin’s new skills will be invaluable in creating the strong corporate image that our clients are looking for.”
Martin Atkinson concludes: “Young, enthusiastic professionals who are keen to learn are just what this industry needs. Erin has been juggling her studies with the demands of managing major relocations for one of our biggest clients for the last three years, so she has certainly earned the right to her mortar board and scroll. I have no doubt that she has a very promising career ahead of her.”
