PiMS Workspace Celebrates Ten Years of Perfect Planning

Space management specialist marks decade milestone

Glasses were raised this week at the headquarters of Waterlooville-based company PiMS Workspace, to celebrate ten years of creating effective office space solutions for organisations throughout the world.

Following a successful career in facilities management, Martin Atkinson established PiMS Workspace in 1997 to deliver comfortable working environments and efficient relocation services.  He explains: 

“I was always confident we could fill a gap in the market with PiMS, but I could never have predicted just how quickly the company would grow.  With some big new projects in the pipeline, the possibilities for future expansion are endless. It’s a very exciting time for us.”

In 2004 the company expanded to include Fit-Out project management, making PiMS a total relocation service provider. CB Richard Ellis, Pearson and Skandia are amongst the long list of high profile corporations that have already benefited from the team’s 20 years of experience in office planning, relocation, refurbishment management and CAFM implementation skills.

With an annual turnover in excess of £3 million, PiMS Workspace’s reputation has recently spread as far as Tokyo and Mumbai, where its consultants have worked with forward thinking businesses to create positive working environments, designed to improve staff retention and increase productivity.
